The TJ generation was the first Wrangler to use a quadra-coil live-axle suspension setup in place of traditional leaf springs, and this kit is purpose-engineered for that platform. The short-wheelbase Jeep TJ is highly prone to steering feedback issues — commonly known as “death wobble” — when factory steering joints fatigue, particularly after a lift installation. We strongly recommend adding the Heavy-Duty Steering Damper Upgrade (RAW-SD-5011) to your order to eliminate this risk and ensure safe, confident steering on all surfaces.
