Advanced 4x4 has been engineering premium 4x4 and overlanding gear since 2004. Every product we manufacture — from steel bumpers to rock sliders and bash plates — is built to perform in Africa’s most demanding environments. The brands we stock alongside our own, including Hella, Raptor (U-Pol), and Warn, are held to the same standard.

As we expand our authorised partner network across South Africa and Namibia, we are looking for fitment centres and resellers who share that standard — businesses that take pride in their craft, stand behind what they sell, and represent the Advanced 4x4 name with the same integrity we have built over two decades.

This is not a volume play. We are building a premium, protected network — limited to 1 to 2 authorised partners per area. If you want to be the go-to Advanced 4x4 partner in your region, the time to apply is now.

As an authorised partner you receive:

  • Competitive trade pricing with a tiered discount structure — rewarding performance and brand commitment
  • Protected territory — with only 1 to 2 authorised partners per area, your investment and market are protected
  • Technical training and product support — biannual training sessions covering new products, engineering specifications, and fitment standards (mandatory for partners new to the industry)
  • Co-branding and marketing materials — Advanced 4x4 branded assets for your workshop, showroom, and marketing channels
  • Listed as an approved installer on the Advanced 4x4 website and partner directory — driving qualified customers directly to your business
  • Warranty support for your customers — backed by Advanced 4x4’s full manufacturer warranty programme
  • A signed dealer agreement — formalising your territory rights, pricing protection, and brand standards

Our Partner Standards

Advanced 4x4 is building a network that mirrors the standards set by the best in the industry. To protect the integrity of the brand and the investment of every partner in our network, the following criteria apply to all authorised partners.

1. Business & Brand Alignment

  • Physical premises required — authorised partners must operate a professional storefront or workshop. Online-only resellers are not eligible.
  • Geographic exclusivity — a maximum of 1 to 2 authorised partners per area to prevent market saturation and protect your territory.
  • Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) compliance — all partners must adhere to Advanced 4x4’s pricing protection policy. Unauthorised discounting is not permitted and will result in immediate review.
  • Brand representation standards — Advanced 4x4 branding must be used correctly across all marketing, social media, and in-store materials in accordance with our brand guidelines.
  • Public liability insurance — partners must hold valid public liability insurance covering all fitment and installation work performed on customer vehicles.
  • Signed dealer agreement — all authorised partners must sign a formal dealer agreement prior to activation, covering territory rights, pricing, brand standards, and compliance obligations.

2. Technical & Fitment Excellence

  • Qualified fitment staff — all installations must be performed by qualified mechanics competent in suspension, electrical, and structural accessory fitment.
  • Workshop equipment standards — workshops must possess the specialised tools required for safe and correct installation.
  • 500km post-fitment safety check — a mandatory safety inspection at 500km post-fitment is required for all critical components, including suspension. This is a condition of warranty validity for the customer.
  • OHS and NRCS compliance — all fitment centres must comply with applicable Occupational Health and Safety regulations and National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS) standards.

3. Performance-Based Tiering — The 20/10/5 Structure

Authorised partner status and discount levels are reviewed quarterly. Partners are evaluated on sales performance, brand standards, customer service, and training attendance.

Tier Discount Criteria
Gold 20% Consistently meets sales targets, maintains showroom standards.
Silver 10% Sales targets missed for two consecutive quarters, or customer service complaints received
Bronze 5% Final warning tier — underperformance or brand standard breaches
Removal Failure to restore alignment with Advanced 4x4 values (Trust, Loyalty, Quality) results in removal from the authorised dealer list and reallocation of territory rights

4. Training & Compliance

  • Biannual product training — mandatory attendance at Advanced 4x4 training sessions covering new products, engineering specifications, electrical integration, and fitment procedures (mandatory for partners new to the industry).
  • Customer complaint escalation — partners must have a clear process for escalating unresolved customer complaints to Advanced 4x4 within 48 hours to protect the brand and the customer experience.

Prospective partners are required to submit the following with their application:

  • Full business registration details and VAT number
  • Physical address and premises details (town, city, province, country)
  • Photos of your fitment area and showroom floor (emailed separately — see note below)
  • List of current brands stocked
  • Number of qualified fitment bays and staff
  • Years in business
  • Contact person, phone number, and email address
  • Brief motivation — why Advanced 4x4, and what makes your business the right fit for your area

Applications are reviewed by the Advanced 4x4 partnership team. Successful applicants will receive our formal dealer prospectus, accreditation requirements, and dealer agreement within 5 business days.
