🔧 Products & Fitment
Are your steel products manufactured in South Africa?
Yes. Advanced 4x4 has been proudly manufacturing heavy-duty steel 4x4 accessories in Strand, Western Cape since 2004. Our bumpers, bash plates, rock sliders, and other steel products are engineered and fabricated locally to meet the demands of African terrain.
Will your products fit my vehicle?
All our manufactured products are vehicle-specific. Each product listing clearly states which vehicle models and year ranges it fits. If you're unsure, contact us with your vehicle's make, model, and year and we'll confirm fitment before you order.
Do I need to modify my vehicle to fit your products?
Our products are designed as direct-fit replacements or bolt-on additions requiring no cutting or welding in most cases. Some products may require minor adjustments depending on vehicle condition and existing accessories. We recommend professional installation at one of our approved fitment centres.
Do you offer custom fabrication?
Yes. We offer custom steel fabrication for specific requirements. Contact us directly at sales@advanced4x4.co.za to discuss your project and get a quote.
🚚 Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship nationwide across South Africa?
Yes. We ship to all major centres across South Africa via our courier partners. Remote and outlying areas may attract additional shipping costs and longer delivery times.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery to major centres takes 3–5 business days once your order has been dispatched. Please allow 14 business days for production or sourcing if your item is not immediately in stock. You will receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do ship to select international destinations. Contact us at sales@advanced4x4.co.za for an international shipping quote before placing your order.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size/weight of your order. Free shipping promotions are advertised on our website when available.
🛡️ Warranty & Returns
What warranty do your manufactured products carry?
All Advanced 4x4 manufactured steel products carry a 3-year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials from the date of purchase. This covers repair or replacement at no cost to you, including verified return shipping costs.
What about warranty on branded products like Warn, Hi-Lift, Raptor, and Flex?
All branded products carry the manufacturer's original warranty. Advanced 4x4 acts as your first point of contact for all warranty claims — we'll handle the process with the manufacturer on your behalf.
Can I return a product if I change my mind?
Yes. We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused products in original packaging. A 15% handling fee applies. Custom or made-to-order products cannot be returned. Please review our full Return & Refund Policy for details.
What do I do if my product arrives damaged?
Report any damage within 7 days of delivery with your order number, proof of purchase, and clear photographs. Email us at sales@advanced4x4.co.za and we will arrange a repair, replacement, or full refund.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, EFT, Shop Pay, and buy-now-pay-later options including Payflex and Mobicred — so you can spread the cost of your build over time.
Can I finance my 4x4 build with Mobicred or Payflex?
Yes! We offer two flexible payment options for larger builds and accessories:
- Mobicred — a revolving credit account that lets you shop now and pay monthly instalments, just like a credit card designed for online shopping.
- Payflex — split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments over 6 weeks. No interest, no hidden fees.

Is it safe to pay online on your store?
Absolutely. Our store is secured with SSL encryption and powered by Shopify — one of the world's most trusted e-commerce platforms. Your payment details are never stored on our servers.

🔩 Installation & Fitment Centres
Do you offer installation?
Yes. We offer professional installation at our Strand, Western Cape facility. We also have a network of Approved Fitment Centres across South Africa.
Is professional installation required?
We strongly recommend professional installation, especially for structural components like bumpers and bash plates. DIY installations are not covered under our warranty. Using a registered fitment centre ensures correct fitment and preserves your warranty.
