Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Tough Dog Foam Cell shocks different from standard gas shocks?

Foam Cell technology eliminates oil cavitation and boiling during high-temperature off-road corrugations, maintaining dampening control when gas shocks fade.

Can you install Tough Dog suspension on solid axle Land Cruisers?

Yes, we cater extensively for Land Cruiser 70, 80, and 105 series, including heavy-duty return-to-centre (RTC) steering dampers.

Do you ship nationwide and support fitment outside Cape Town?

Yes. Advanced 4x4 provides nationwide shipping across South Africa. For customers outside the Western Cape, products can be delivered directly to your door, to a commercial freight depot, or directly to an approved fitment centre near you for installation.
